PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF INFLUENZA A EPIDEMIC
🌿💪 TAKE PROACTIVE STEPS TO PREVENT AND CONTROL INFLUENZA A – PROTECT THE HEALTH OF YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY! 💪🌿
The changing seasons and fluctuating temperatures create favorable conditions for influenza A outbreaks and rapid spread in the community, especially in school environments.
👉 Influenza A spreads rapidly through the respiratory tract, and anyone can get it — especially young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems.
To raise awareness of disease prevention, Van Bao Primary School is sending important information to parents, teachers, and students about the signs and symptoms of influenza A and how to prevent it.
😷 What is Influenza A?
Influenza A is an acute respiratory infection that spreads through droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or through contact with surfaces contaminated with the virus.
The illness may begin with symptoms such as: high fever of 39–40°C, headache, cough, sore throat, muscle aches, and general fatigue.
If left untreated, the disease can cause dangerous complications such as pneumonia or respiratory failure.
🌈 To effectively prevent this, each student needs to do the following:
💉 Get your flu vaccine annually (the best time is from July to September).
💧 Wash your hands frequently with soap, especially after coughing or sneezing, before eating, and after using the toilet.
😷 Wear a mask when going to crowded places or when you have symptoms such as coughing or a runny nose.
🏫 Keep classrooms and homes clean and well-ventilated; wipe and disinfect desks, chairs, doorknobs, and school supplies daily.
🍎 Keep your body warm, eat a balanced diet, increase your intake of green vegetables and fruits, get enough sleep, and exercise regularly to boost your immune system.
👩⚕️ If you experience symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, or fatigue, you should go to a medical facility for timely examination and treatment.
🌸 Proactively prevent influenza A - Protect your own health, your family's health, and the community's health. 🌸
