The National Helmet Donation Program for First-Grade Students is a program implemented by the National Traffic Safety Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training and Honda Vietnam Company, in accordance with the Prime Minister's Directive No. 04/CT-TTg dated January 19, 2018, on increasing the rate of children wearing helmets that meet national technical standards to level 80% by 2020. This is truly a large-scale and significant activity, receiving attention, recognition, and high praise from Party and State leaders as well as the entire society; it has been received with appreciation and affection by students and their parents; the program has contributed to creating a positive change in increasing the rate of helmet use for 6-year-old children in particular and children in general in Vietnam in the past year.
On December 11th, Van Bao Primary School, in collaboration with Honda Vietnam, organized a gift-giving event for first-grade students at the school.
